Agad (Visha Chikitsa) OPD deals with the aspects of toxicology i.e. any acute/ chronic poisoning / toxicity due to various sources like plants/animals/minerals/ chemical etc., its identification, prevention and treatment. It also deals with issues of food poisoning, occupational and industrial toxicity, substance abuse, withdrawal symptoms, dermatological conditions etc. Another part of Agad OPD includes Forensic Medicine which deals with legal & ethical aspect of medical practices.
